News From the Executive Race Director

The NOTC November and December events include three of the most exciting and sought after annual races.

November 15th: A Run Through History 1 mile and 5K takes place inside historic Metairie Cemetery. This event is the largest run/walk held inside a Cemetery in the nation. (...that's New Orleans!) and is a benefit for the nationally recognized Save Our Cemeteries Organization.

November 26th: The 102nd Annual Turkey Day Race. The traditional "Thanksgiving Day" 1 mile and 5 Mile at Tad Gormley Stadium. A record field of over 2100 turned out last year. Proceeds benefit the Spina Bifida Association of South Louisiana.

December 20th: Ole Man River Half-Marathon and 5K. Highlights include....

Anchor Race of the Rock-n-Roll Mardi Gras Marathon Long Distance Series. Entrants in the OMR Half-Marathon, Larry Fuselier 25K and the WALL 30K will receive a $15.00 discount on entry to the RNR-MGM.
$1200 in Prize money for overall Half-Marathon Divisions
Commemorative Medallions to all Half-Marathon and 5K finishers
Featuring the Rotary Club's "PANCAKE BREAKFAST"
USATF-RRTC certified Half-Marathon and 5K courses
Hosted by the New Orleans International Airport Rotary Club. Proceeds benefit the Wheelchair Foundation and the Kenner Food Bank.

Office Space Needed

The New Orleans Track Club is looking for office space in the metropolitan New Orleans area. We need from 1000 to 2000 square feet and prefer to be on the ground floor. If you have or know of a suitable space please contact the club at NOTC@runNOTC.org.
