Greek Festival Race Results
1 Mile and 5K Races — 2012 Grand Prix Event

The 24th running of the NOTC Race at the Greek Festival attracted about 1200 runners from five states for the 1 Mile and 5K races. We were rewarded with a beautiful sunny day for the Friday evening race with temperatures dipping just in time for the start of the race. Each registrant received a commemorative koozie and a technical t-shirt.
Prize money was awarded in both races which attracted top in-town and out-of-town runners. In the 1 mile race Cullen Doody ran 4:29 and Ali Edwards 5:25 to claim the top prizes. The men's 5K champion was Adam Hoogevard in 15:41 and the women's champion was Charlotte Everhardt in 18:40. Wade Wootan and Stacey Roberts were the Masters winners in 18:49 and 20:52 respectively. Kenny Mire and Word Backstrom were the Grand Masters winners in 18:57 and 21:29 respectively.

Proceeds from the race go to NOTC scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors and to Team in Training Leukemia/Lymphoma.
