Awards and Scoring
The Free For All Summer Series races are non-scored events. No awards will be presented.
Refreshments
Kentwood Springs Water, beer provided by Crescent Crown Distributing, Elmer's Chee Wees, and other refreshments provided by supporting running clubs and organizations.
Headphone Policy
For your safety and the safety of others and to better enjoy the race the NOTC strongly discourages the use of headphones or similar devices during the running or walking of this event.
Registration
Entry Fees
The Free For All Summer Series is indeed free. Participants are required to register however. Registration forms are available at the race site and bibs may be picked up starting at 6:00 PM the day of each race.
A donation box is present at the registration area. All donations are matched by the New Orleans Track Club and forwarded directly to New Orleans City Park.
Volunteers Needed
Please consider being a volunteer. Volunteers receive refreshments from our sponsors as well as the satisfaction of assisting the NOTC in fulfilling its mission to promote running and fitness in the community. Signup on our website or call 504-304-2326.
New Orleans City Park
New Orleans City Park is a unique state agency of the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism operated by the non-profit City Park Improvement Association (CPIA). The land occupied by City Park is owned by the City of New Orleans.
City Park traditionally received little or no public operating support. Following Hurricane Katrina, however, the Park has started to receive some operating assistance from the State of Louisiana. The Park receives capitol support from the City of New Orleans but no operating funds. In 2009, this public support amounted to approximately 19% of our total operating budget. We must raise 81% of our operating funds through self-generated revenue.
