Komen Race for the Cure® Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. Established in 1983, the Komen Race for the Cure® has grown to a series of more than 113 races with 1.5 million people expected to participate in 2008.

Race Day Registration: Day of race registration is available and begins at 7:00AM at the race site in City Park on Roosevelt Mall Blvd.

Corporate and Group Team Registration:

T-Shirts:

All pre-registered entrants will receive a 100% cotton New Orleans Race for the Cure t-shirt Entrants registered after October 10th will be given t-shirts as supplies allow, information as to reorder will be announced if necessary.

T-shirts are available in Youth-Medium and Adult sizes Small through XX-Large.

Please keep race number t-shirt tab until claiming your t-shirt.

Komen New Orleans Race for the Cure Medallions will be given to the first 1000 finishers in the 5K .

Breast Cancer Survivors 5K Award division:

Breast Cancer Survivors awards include a round trip ticket courtesy of American Airlines and/or American Eagle to any destination in the contiguous US. Commemorative awards will be presented to the 2nd, 3rd Breast Cancer survivors and 1st place masters survivor (age 40-59) and senior survivor (age 60-over).

Please remember to check the "Survivors Recognition" box and to wear your pink race number to be eligible for this division.
