He did the 5K in a time of 34:07, which was good for 3rd place in the 60 and over division, although Bob is over 70.

Mississippi Coast Marathon, November 26, Stennis Space Center, MS. Congratulations to Race Director Leonard Vergunst and all of the folks with the Gulf Coast Running Club in keeping the Mississippi Coast Marathon going this year. Despite the many post hurricane related hardships they had to overcome they produced a very good event. Many members of the NOTC and runners/walkers from Louisiana participated or came over to support the race and participants.

The Catch-22 "New Orleans Proud to Call it Home" group (see New York City results--all NOTC members also) took the drive over to run and support this event. Three of the first four finishers were part of this group.

The race results did not include city/state so I'm guessing at who is local (South MS, South Louisiana). If you are not listed here, please e-mail us.
